Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac ICU

Location: New York, NY 10016

Type: Contract | 37.5 Hours/Week

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Days)

Pay Range: $58 – $68/hour

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac ICU for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional and compassionate care to critically ill cardiac patients.

• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and precise medication administration.

• Continuously assess and monitor patient conditions and initiate timely interventions.

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation per established protocols.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members.

• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac ICU or Critical Care setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation procedures.

Education & Certifications:

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification Required)

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification

• Documented competency in IV/Phlebotomy
