GRC Tech Lead - AuditBoard (SOX 404 / ITGC)

Our client is seeking is seeking a GRC Tech Lead with deep expertise in AuditBoard and public‑company SOX 404 environments. This role is ideal for someone who has owned or administered audit technology platforms, led configuration and governance activities, and partnered closely with audit, risk, IT, and business stakeholders.

You will serve as the technical owner of the AuditBoard platform, drive process improvements, support SOX compliance programs, and enhance the organization's overall risk and control posture.

Requirements:

AuditBoard Platform Ownership

• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and module‑level governance.
• Oversee environment changes and address limitations related to migrating configurations from Test to Production.
• Coordinate platform upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution with internal teams and vendor support.
• Lead configuration, customization, and administration of AuditBoard modules (SOXHUB, OpsAudit, RiskOversight)

SOX 404 & Audit Program Support

• Support public‑company SOX 404 compliance programs, including control design, testing, remediation tracking, and reporting.
• Enhance audit workflows and automate testing processes using AuditBoard and related tools.
• Develop and maintain Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) and operational audit methodologies.

ERP Controls & ITGC

• Support IT General Controls (ITGC) assessments and testing.
• Oversee ERP application and configuration controls for systems such as SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite.
• Ensure alignment between ERP controls, GRC workflows, and audit requirements.

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Use Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel to analyze control effectiveness and generate insights.
• Build dashboards and reports for executive leadership on risk, controls, and remediation status.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Partner with IT, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business units to optimize GRC processes.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and governance for the AuditBoard platform.
• Communicate program status, risks, and remediation progress to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of directly related experience.
• Solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC)
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks and regulatory standards.
• Expertise in ERP controls for SAP, Oracle, and/or NetSuite.
• Proven experience supporting public‑company SOX 404 programs.
• Strong knowledge of operational auditing and RCM development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands‑on experience administering or implementing AuditBoard (SOXHUB, OpsAudit, RiskOversight)

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as CISA, CPA, CRISC, or similar
• Background in large enterprise environments or regulated industries.
• Experience leading multiple AuditBoard implementations, module rollouts, or platform upgrades.
