Overview
CT Technologist – Radiology in Massena, New York. Start date 06/22/2026 for an assignment spanning multiple weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,494–$2,657 with 0.0 guaranteed hours. Shift is 5x8 Nights. Work setting is a Critical Access Hospital providing general radiology coverage, including X-ray and CT, with weekend ED and inpatient demand and occasional outpatient exams. First-time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities
- Perform combined X-ray and CT examinations, including routine head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, as well as CT protocols such as CTA head/carotid and PE protocol.
- Operate CT scanner and portable X-ray equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety; adjust radiographic techniques for quality results.
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients of all ages; administer contrast media when indicated and monitor for adverse reactions in accordance with protocol.
- Document procedures and results in the charting system (EPIC) and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams; manage PACS workflows.
- Maintain equipment readiness, participate in contrast media preparation/administration, and adhere to infection control and radiation safety practices.
- Provide coverage for ED and inpatient imaging needs on weekends; may perform outpatient exams as required.

Requirements
- Active ARRT(R) certification
- New York State license in hand to submit
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical radiology experience
- Portable radiography experience required
- CT protocol experience; preferred ARRT CT and ARRT Advanced Certification
- IV certification as required on NY license
- EPIC charting experience
- Must be able to work in a general radiology setting covering X-ray and CT
- RTO policy: pre-approved by manager; candidates with more than 10 days of RTO may not be submit-eligible
- Candidates located within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
