Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5 days/week | 8 hours/day (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate:
Travel: $74/hour
Local: $60/hour
Position Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer to perform general radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, patient-centered care, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform general diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered
Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety during procedures
Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment
Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards
Accurately document procedures and patient information
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of General Radiography experience
Education Requirements
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT Certification and Registration (Required)
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
BLS Certification (Preferred)
