Role Overview

Citi’s Law Firm Group Advisory Services team is seeking a Client Advisory Analyst to support its market‑leading advisory and thought‑leadership platform for the global legal industry. For more than 50 years, the team has delivered data‑driven insights that help law firm leaders understand their competitive position, evaluate performance against peers, and make informed strategic decisions.

This role supports senior Client Advisors by administering industry surveys, maintaining proprietary datasets, and contributing to high‑impact benchmarking analyses, publications, and client presentations used by managing partners and executive committees at leading law firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and operational support across Law Firm Group Advisory Services , including research, benchmarking, and client deliverables
• Support the production of 200+ customized peer benchmarking and comparative presentations annually for law firm clients
• Administer and manage financial and operational surveys, including the Annual Survey of Law Firm Performance , quarterly flash surveys, and other targeted data requests
• Maintain and analyze proprietary survey databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability
• Assist in the development of peer reviews that allow law firm leadership to assess performance against comparable and aspirational firms
• Contribute to advisory content used in industry reports, leadership presentations, and law firm executive discussions
• Collaborate with Client Advisors to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, client‑ready insights
• Support ongoing enhancements to internal tools, processes, and reporting systems
• Demonstrate a strong risk and controls mindset by exercising sound judgment, adhering to Citi policies, and escalating issues as appropriate to safeguard Citi, its clients, and its reputation

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience , ideally in analytics, consulting, financial services, professional services, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated interest in law firm economics, financial performance, and industry trends
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ; experience with databases or reporting tools preferred
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a deadline‑driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or analytical concepts to non‑technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred / Differentiating Skills

• Experience working with survey data, benchmarking analyses, or peer‑based performance comparisons
• Proficiency as a power user or developer, including VBA, SQL, or similar scripting tools
• Ability to build and enhance Excel‑based analytical models, macros, or Access databases
• Familiarity with reporting platforms or internal analytics systems
• Comfort supporting senior‑level client interactions and executive‑level materials

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$109,120.00 - $163,680.00
