Busser
We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Busser. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent guest service. **Must have open availability and be able to work late nights.**
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by supporting servers and bartenders to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience
- Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of work area/assigned station and the establishment
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables between guests to maintain smooth table turnover
- Ensure all tableware, glassware, and utensils are properly cleaned, stocked, and organized
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages, refilling water, and pre-bussing as needed
- Monitor dining areas to anticipate guest needs and support timely service
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure coordinated service
- Resolve minor guest concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
- Ensure sanitation fundamentals and Health Department requirements are in compliance
- Properly handle and dispose of waste, recycling, and dishware in designated areas
- Assist with restocking supplies such as linens, glassware, and condiments throughout service
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a busser or in a similar restaurant support role preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
- Ability to lift and carry trays, bus tubs, and other equipment as needed
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
