Radiation Therapist Contract

Location: New York NY 10029

Duration: 13 Weeks Day Shift (8:00 AM4:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $40$42/hr

Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver safe accurate radiation treatments and support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy per oncologist prescription and verify dosage accuracy.

• Perform and interpret port images; ensure timely physician review.

• Prepare treatment rooms equipment and immobilization devices.

• Accurately set up patients and explain procedures.

• Monitor and report patient condition changes.

• Maintain accurate treatment records and perform daily QA/safety checks.

• Report equipment issues and maintain clean organized work areas.

• Assist with chart checks scheduling and training student therapists.

• Participate in rounds and adhere to all safety and care standards.

Requirements

• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Mosaiq EMR .

• Minimum 1 year clinical radiation therapy experience (2 years preferred).

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy program .

• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and NY State License .
