POSITION: Workers Comp Claims Supervisor

FULLTIME

LOCATION: Syracuse, NY (Fully Remote)

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday

PAY RANGE: $100K-110K/yr.
(Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Claims Expertise Needed: New York indemnity claims experience.
• Licensing Requirements: NY
• State of Residence: The candidate can be domiciled anywhere in the US. The position will be fully remote.
• Client Base: This desk will oversee a multitude of various books of business in varying industries.
• Overseeing a team of adjusters including examiners, assistants

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continually evaluate system or procedural improvements that minimize risk and cost of the program
• Willing and able to travel to various locations on a regular basis

• Establish and enforce standards and procedures for matters related to the workers' compensation program
• Manage vendor services, including third party administrators, bill pay, and insurance carriers
• Advise the Company regarding financial impacts and risks of claims through regular reporting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least five years' experience with Workers' Compensation or similar matters, preferably in New York
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve expected results

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• Use of computers and technology
