Masonry Apprentice / Mason Tender - Outdoor Living & Hardscaping
Construction Trades Staffing has a great opportunity to work with a family‐owned outdoor living and hardscaping company that builds custom patios, pool surrounds, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, stone features, boulder installs , and more across Western New York. Every project is different—new yards, new designs, new challenges. You’ll learn real skills that can lead to a long-term career.
Job Duties for the Masonry position:
- Mix mortar and prep materials
- Move bricks, blocks, stone, pavers, and supplies
- Assist masons with laying brick, block, stone, and pavers
- Help with concrete pours (mixing, placing, finishing)
- Set up scaffolding, tools, and equipment
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
- Learn cutting, leveling, finishing, and
- hardscaping techniques
- As you grow: operate Dingos/mini skid steers and small excavators
Requirements for this Masonry position:
- Reliable transportation to Buffalo/WNY job sites
- Ability to lift 80 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
- Construction/landscaping experience is a plus (not required)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
