McManus Ateshoglou Aiello & Apostolakos PLLC is an expanding litigation firm with offices in the Manhattan Financial District and in Garden City, Long Island. We are seeking to hire a Legal Assistant to join our rapidly growing team in our Manhattan location.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with appropriate supervision. MAAA offers evening-division law students the opportunity to develop and hone their litigation skills and to develop their writing techniques.

Qualifications:
· Litigation Experience Required
· NYSCEF e-Filing Experience Required
· Strong Organizational Skills
· Exceptional Attention to Detail
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· New Jersey Experience a plus, but not essential
Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling insurance defense matters
· Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
· File documents electronically xrczosw in state courts
· Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel via phone and email as requested by attorneys
· Review incoming emails, mail, and filings, and calendar all applicable deadlines
· Any and all other duties as may be required of the job
Benefits:
