Senior Accounting Consultant
- The hourly rate is $50-60/hr, depending upon experience.
- Own all closes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review account reconciliation, supporting schedules, and journal entries.
- Manage revenue recognition (including multi-period and project-based engagements), ensuring accordance with GAAP.
- Manage financial systems implementations and workflow automation.
- Oversee AP/AR, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals.
- Cash flow management and forecasting.
- Preparation of internal management reports and financial statements.
- Audit support, tax filings, and working with external auditors/advisors.
- Enhance and maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
- Work alongside leadership and operations to assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- US GAAP knowledge; UK general standards knowledge.
- Able to bridge GTM and finance operations through cross functional work.
- Knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks. Experience with SQL preferred.
- Big 4 public accounting and high growth start up experience preferred.
- ERP system implementation experience preferred.
- Comfortable using AI or other automation to drive efficiencies.
