Job Description
The Collections Associate plays a vital role in managing outstanding debts and ensuring timely payment from customers. This position involves active communication with customers, meticulous account reviews, and efficient processing of payments to maintain the organization’s cash flow and credit integrity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct debt collection activities to recover outstanding payments
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding account status and payment plans
- Review customer accounts for accuracy and discrepancies
- Process payments and update account records accordingly
- Resolve disputes related to billing and payments promptly
- Perform credit analysis to assess customer payment risk
- Manage and follow up on payment collections to reduce delinquencies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in collections or accounts receivable
