Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER) Registered Nurse for a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatric care and experienced in handling emergency and trauma situations.

Position Details:

• Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ER)
• Contract Type: Travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care to pediatric patients (infants to adolescents)
• Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Monitor, assess, and treat critically ill or injured children
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate and support patients’ families

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Peds ER experience (within the last 3 years)
• Experience in a high-acuity or trauma facility preferred
• Strong triage experience required
• Current certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS ( required )
  • NIHSS (preferred/required based on facility)
• EPIC experience preferred
• Active RN license (state-specific as required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Centers
• Strong pediatric assessment and emergency care skills
