Project Manager
We are hiring a Field Project Manager to lead execution across our highway and heavy civil infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in the field and takes ownership of project outcomes from mobilization through closeout.
Our work includes drainage systems, guide rail and bridge rail installation, and concrete demolition across active DOT corridors. With a strong backlog of infrastructure projects and continued growth, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on field operations, team performance, and overall project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing field crews on highway, civil, or heavy infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of DOT-regulated environments, including safety standards, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Ability to balance field leadership with project oversight responsibilities
- Experience in drainage, utilities, guide rail, bridge rail, or concrete demolition is a strong plus
- Estimating experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight as required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
What You'll Do
- Lead field execution across multiple highway and civil infrastructure projects
- Manage and supervise field crews across active job sites
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including:
- Labor coordination
- Subcontractor management
- Safety compliance
- Field decision-making
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate with internal teams on project status, budgets, and timelines
- Identify and implement improvements in field efficiency and execution
- Participate in pre-construction planning and project setup
- Support estimating efforts for upcoming bids (up to approximately $4M), as needed
- Travel to job sites as required (overnight travel across regional projects)
