Location: 100% Remote (candidate must reside in EST Time Zone - they will not even ship equipment to CST/MST/PST) only on w2

Business Analyst (UI/UX-Focused, Agile Product Delivery)
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a high-performing Agile delivery team responsible for building and enhancing modern, user-centric web applications . This role is ideal for a BA who comes from a modern front-end / UI-driven product environment and excels at translating user needs into clear, well-defined user stories and UI-focused requirements .
The majority of this role (approximately 90%) focuses on defining requirements for user interfaces , workflows, and user experiences within a modern Angular-based application . The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, UX designers, and development teams to ensure intuitive, high-quality user experiences are delivered quickly and effectively.
This role operates in a pure Agile/Scrum environment and closely resembles a Product Owner-style role , though the Business Analyst title is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, product leadership, and end users to understand goals, workflows, and user experience needs
- Lead requirements discovery with a strong focus on UI behavior, user flows, usability, and interaction design
- Translate business and user needs into clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
- Collaborate daily with UX/UI designers and Angular development teams to refine screen designs, interactions, and functionality
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for sprint execution
- Act as the primary point of clarification for UI-driven requirements throughout development and testing
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Balance user experience, business value, and delivery timelines when defining and prioritizing work
- Support and validate UI functionality during testing and UAT, including defect triage and refinement
- Ensure traceability from user needs through design, development, and delivery
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting application development
- Strong background in modern web applications , with hands-on experience supporting UI/UX-focused development
- Demonstrated experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for front-end functionality and user interfaces
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum product teams (very strong preference)
- Ability to effectively collaborate with UX designers and front-end developers (especially Angular teams)
- Direct experience supporting Angular-based applications or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with UX tools, wireframes, and design artifacts (e.g., Figma, Sketch, prototypes)
- Experience supporting enterprise or internally facing web applications
- Solid understanding of UI concepts such as user journeys, workflows, responsive design, and usability
- Strong understanding of frontend/back-end integration concepts (APIs, data flows)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate requirements to both business and technical teams
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative product environments
