Job Title: RN – NICU (Morning Shift)

Location : Bronx, NY

Type : Contract

Pay Rate:
Travel Rate: $3,189 per week
Local Rate: $2,553 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – NICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
• Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion and phlebotomy on neonatal patients
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures while ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams in a NICU setting
• Communicate with and support families, providing updates and education regarding neonatal care

Qualifications:

Required Experience & Education:

• Minimum of 2 years of Maternal and Child nursing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program

Required Licensure & Certifications:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• NYSED Primary Source Verification of licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AHA or equivalent)
