Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee landfill gas sites within a two-hour radius of Corning, NY. The successful candidate will have a strong background managing landfill gas technicians and ensuring optimal performance of Gas Collection and Control Systems (GCCS). This role requires coordination with landfill operations managers, staff, and the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee landfill gas technicians and ensure the high performance of GCCS.

• Participate in gas calls and coordinate with landfill operations managers and staff.

• Collaborate with the engineering team within the office.

• Manage and tune wellfields while monitoring landfill gas systems.

• Hire, mentor, train, and manage staff.

• Responsible for budgeting and working in partnership with engineering staff.

• Troubleshoot and maintain landfill gas collection systems.

• Manage compliance databases.

Essential Skills

• 5-7 years of experience with landfill gas systems.

• Proficiency in landfill gas management and field sampling.

• 40HR HAZWOPER is a plus.

• Project management expertise.

• Experience working on multiple landfills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in managing landfill gas technicians and consultants.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Work Environment

The role involves managing 3-5 landfills within a two-hour radius of Corning, NY. The work environment includes a strong culture of camaraderie and offers annual bonuses. Will be provided with a Ford F150 take-home truck, company equipment including a phone and laptop, and will require travel and overnight stays, with lodging booked by the company, any expenses reimbursed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Corning, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Healthcare (Medical, Dental, 401k) and Employee Stock: ability to buy stock at 15% below stock market price.

This is a fully onsite position in Corning,NY.
