Chanel Senior Manager, Performance Excellence
- Build and implement a comprehensive headcount planning framework that maximizes productivity, effectiveness, and ROI across all F&B retail locations.
- Translate staffing analysis into actionable recommendations, driving commercial development and strengthening partnerships with retail collaborators.
- Drive strategic deployment of freelance talent, ensuring CHANEL's business objectives are met with agility and precision.
- Present critical insights to senior leadership, influencing key decisions that directly impact the business.
- Take full ownership of freelance and shared retailer budget management, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to deliver high-value outcomes.
- Develop and evolve compensation strategies that enable CHANEL to attract, motivate, and retain top field talent in competitive markets.
- Navigating complexity and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic retail environment.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with retail, trade marketing, commercial development, finance, and People & Organization teams to achieve shared goals.
- Analyzing data and uncovering insights that shape strategy and influence senior decision makers.
- Seeking out new approaches and challenging established processes to create more effective and innovative solutions.
- Operating independently, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results with a high degree of autonomy.
- Presenting complex information with clarity and confidence to senior audiences.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in roles involving budget ownership, analytical problem-solving, and data-driven recommendations, ideally within retail or consumer-facing industries.
- A deep understanding of what drives success in retail teams and a passion for optimizing the associate and client experience.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, even without direct authority, and proven experience working cross-functionally.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, especially when translating complex analysis into actionable insights.
- A strategic, curious mindset with a drive to innovate and improve existing frameworks.
- Experience in compensation strategy or market benchmarking is a strong plus.
- This position is Partially Remote : Requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the New York Corporate office.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, trainings or on-site retail visits.
- No significant physical requirements.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in relevant roles.
- Advanced project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to influence business-critical decisions.
- Deep expertise in retail workforce analytics, staffing strategy, and financial stewardship.
- Experience developing and implementing compensation frameworks at a market-leading luxury brand.
- Opportunities for growth into broader talent, financial, or commercial strategy roles within CHANEL.
- Mentorship, including regular development conversations and exposure to senior-level strategic work.
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $130,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
