Position Overview
We are looking for a Dishwasher who is reliable, hardworking, organized, and committed to supporting a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant environment.The Dishwasher plays an essential role in daily restaurant operations by maintaining clean dishware, glassware, cookware, equipment, and BOH work areas. This person works with urgency, takes pride in cleanliness, and understands that a strong dish station is critical to the success of both the kitchen and the dining room.
The ideal Dishwasher is dependable, team focused, able to work cleanly and efficiently, and willing to support the culinary team wherever needed. This role requires attention to sanitation, safe chemical handling, organization, and the ability to maintain pace in a fast moving kitchen environment.
The Dishwasher must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station throughout the shift.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and according to company standards.
- Keep dish machine, sinks, drains, floors, mats, shelves, and surrounding areas clean and sanitary.
- Support BOH cleanliness by removing trash, breaking down boxes, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining assigned areas.
- Follow proper chemical safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Restock clean plates, smallwares, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment as needed.
- Assist with receiving, storage, organization, and general kitchen support as directed.
- Communicate with chefs and managers regarding equipment issues, chemical levels, breakage, and station needs.
- Participate in daily and weekly deep cleaning projects.
- Support a positive, respectful, and team first work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Able to work in a standing or walking position for extended periods of time.
- Prior dishwasher, porter, stewarding, or restaurant support experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a high volume restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of sanitation standards and safe chemical handling is a plus.
- Stable work history and a proven track record of dependability.
The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving intermittently during working hours. This position may require frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
