111. Associate or Senior Associate, Asset-Based Finance

Our client, an established but growing team within a global financial firm, would like to add an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to their collegial and collaborative group. This team is part of their private credit business investing balance sheet into bespoke private loans backed by equipment, esoteric assets and infrastructure. The Associate or Senior Associate will take a key role in underwriting, working with more complex credit docs, and providing due diligence on the underlying assets. All team members are industry generalists, and the staff participates in the Investment Committee process. The team has a supportive culture and a highly regarded senior team. The PMs will provide the mentorship needed for career advancement and promotion. The team’s small size leaves room for moving up in the organization.

The strongest candidates have 2-5 years of total experience including 1-2 years in an investment banking program. Candidates may come from a variety of credit backgrounds, but non-sponsor private credit or asset based private credit experience would be a plus. The role requires a smart, ambitious, and energetic person with an outstanding financial skill set, detailed approach to work, the ability to understand businesses, and excellent communication skills. Candidates need an undergraduate GPA of 3.6 or better and high standardized test scores as an indication that the individual puts maximum effort into their work. This is a rare chance to join a growing credit fund within an established credit organization. Salary: $150-175,000 + bonus.
