Hoexters is an Upscale New American restaurant located in the UES, looking for experienced, full-time servers to join our team ( Sunday/Monday availability required) .
We are looking for people with experience in a fast-paced environment, that are passionate about hospitality and want to make our guests feel extra special and well taken care of from the very moment they step in. See below a list of responsibilities and requirements and don't hesitate to contact us if you feel like these describe you: - Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service to your guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, paying close attention to dietary restrictions.
- Enter orders into the POS system and communicate discrepancies/errors to management/kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Upsell food and beverages to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings.
- Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to work dinner and brunch.
