SENIOR MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR

As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you’ll be at the heart of the project lifecycle—developing accurate, competitive estimates that drive project wins and set the stage for seamless execution. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the highest standards in cost management, bid proposals, and preconstruction planning.

Key Responsibilities
Attend pre-bid meetings and analyze project requirements
Prepare detailed scopes of work and mechanical system takeoffs
Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate vendor and subcontractor proposals
Develop budgets, cost estimates, and comprehensive bid packages
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and material suppliers
Support project turnover and operational handoff

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience
10+ years in estimating, cost control, and/or engineering (with at least 5 years focused on mechanical HVAC estimating)
Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems and modern estimating techniques
Proficiency with industry software
Demonstrated experience preparing scopes of work and contracts
Solid understanding of local building codes and job specifications
Outstanding organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Self-driven, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
