CWI Quality Manager (Steel Joist and Deck)

Basic Job Functions:
- Lead, develop, and supervise the Inspection Team to ensure consistent execution of quality standards and inspection processes.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable codes and industry specifications.
- Collaborate with division leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventative action plans.
- Manage initial welder training and qualification program.
- Maintain, administer, and continuously improve the Vulcraft of New York Quality Management System (QMS).
- Track and analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.
- Conduct jobsite visits to evaluate and resolve quality-related issues.
- Infrequent travel is required, including travel within the United States and Canada
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- 2 years experience in: welding, weld inspection, weld engineering, or manufacturing quality control
- Prior leadership experiencePreferred Qualifications:
- CWB Supervisor or Weld Engineer
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint or the desire and ability to obtain computer skills quickly
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
