Position Overview
The Director, Talent Management will own and evolve the full talent management ecosystem, partnering closely with senior leadership on talent strategy, compensation alignment, and workforce development. This role is well-suited for a hands-on, data-driven talent leader with experience in high-growth, acquisition-driven environments.
What You’ll Do
End-to-End Talent Management Cycles
- Design, implement, and continuously evolve performance management programs, including goal-setting frameworks, ongoing check-in cadences, mid-year and year-end calibration processes, and promotion practices
- Build and scale talent review practices beyond self-directed development, including high-potential identification and differentiation, succession planning, and development planning
Change Management & Change Enablement
- Lead enterprise culture change aligned to the Milrose Culture Blueprint, embedding desired behaviors across the employee lifecycle
- Strengthening manager capability in performance conversations, feedback, and employee development through targeted programs for both new and experienced managers
- Lead post-merger integration efforts to drive alignment in culture, talent processes, and organizational mindset
Maintain and Evolve Job Architecture Frameworks & Role Profiles
- Align performance and compensation frameworks across a multi-acquisition, multi-location workforce, supporting job architecture harmonization and role-level initiatives
- Translate job architecture into clear career paths to support employee growth and internal mobility
- Enable development planning through effective use of Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
Talent Partnership
- Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to translate business priorities into actionable talent plans; serve as a trusted advisor on performance, organizational design, and workforce readiness
Talent Analytics & Insights
- Develop and maintain talent analytics and reporting, including executive- and board-level dashboards, to track program effectiveness, engagement trends, and key talent KPIs
Learning & Development
- Own the end-to-end learning and development function, designing, piloting, iterating, and implementing differentiated learning paths for individual contributors, people managers, and senior leaders
- Continuously assess, evaluate, and evolve training programs and tools, including the LMS, with ownership of content architecture, learning path configuration, utilization reporting, and vendor and content partnerships
- Ensure learning infrastructure scales effectively across acquisitions by harmonizing inherited programs and building toward a cohesive, enterprise-wide development framework
- Lead the annual HR compliance training strategy and delivery through KnowBe4
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Minimum 10+ years in HR, with specialist depth in talent management and organizational effectiveness; experience in performance management, L&D or OD a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- Proven track record designing and scaling talent and learning systems in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong analytical skills; ability to build data narratives and use talent metrics to drive decisions and stakeholder buy-in
- Experience partnering directly with C-suite and senior business leaders — not just supporting, but advising
- Hands-on program builder: comfortable operating without established infrastructure and driving initiatives from concept through execution
- Experience with multi-location or post-acquisition workforce complexity
- ADP, or comparable HRIS platform experience
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources
- HR SHRM or other recognized HR certification
- Experience in private equity-backed and/or acquisition-driven environments
- LMS administration and Culture Amp a plus
