One of Singapore's largest commercial banking institutions(corporate banking) seems a VICE PRESIDENT, CREDIT ADMINISTRATION! This role is in my client's midtwon Manhattan(NYC) office.

Summary:

VICE PRESIDENT, CREDIT ADMINISTRATION AND CONTROL
Credit Administration and Control (CAC) provide back-office credit and security documentation checking for corporate & financial
institutional customers, credit risk monitoring support to credit and business units of the Bank, and loan agency function.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist in overseeing the smooth operation of CAC, credit risk
monitoring, monthly reporting, key risk and control self-assessments, update and maintain the Standard Operating
Procedure ensuring compliance with the Banks policies and regulatory provisions, manage the safe custody of
original credit and security documentation.
You will be expected tobe involved inthe teams talent development, champion the operations service model and
projects initiatives to constantly seek outprocess improvements to achieve operational excellence, other operational
risk matters and leave cover for other Operations related.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A) Bilateral Loans
Lead, coach and manage the CAC team for handling bilateral loans.
Responsible for issuance of facility letters and reviewing non-standard facility agreements and
security documentation for complex deals drafted by external lawyers. Ensuring all the terms enumerated in
the credit and security documentation are compliance with approved credit terms, related Group policies,
guidelines and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure executed documentation is perfected and in good order, aligned with approved credit terms
prior to implementation of credit facilities.
Active risk management. Highlight and resolve any discrepancies identified, ensure proper approval is
obtained from the authorized approver prior to the implementation of credit facilities.
Demonstrates strong product knowledge across real estate, construction, project financing, and trade.
Manages the safe keeping of the legal and security documentation in the vault and update in the
collateral management system.
B) Syndication Loans
Lead, coach and manage the CAC team in performing Loan Agency function.
Perform all administrative tasks to support both the borrower and lenders.
Ensure documentation is perfected and in good order, aligned with approved credit terms.
Acting as an agent is a varied and highly visible role requiring accuracy and sound understanding of
complex deal mechanics.
Strong communication skills are required in managing the borrower, lenders and internal
stakeholders.
Active risk management to minimize commercial impact to the bank, borrower and lenders.
C) Credit Risk Monitoring, Reporting and Operational Risk
Perform credit risk monitoring and escalation of exceptions for covenants, security documentation
with expiry date, property revaluation, insurance renewal, annual credit review and related early alert
indicators required by Credit.
Prepare monthly limit and exposure report, various internal and regulatory reporting related to loans.
Assist the Operations Manager in handling all the operational risk matters of UOB New York Agency.
Conduct independent key risk and control self-assessments.
Leave cover for the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelors degree in business administration, banking and finance, risk management or related discipline.
2. Minimum of 1015 years of solid experience in credit administration and/or loan agency functions within a
wholesale or corporate banking environment.
3. Proven leadership capability with a strong track record in managing sizable teams, preferably supporting
wholesale credit lending portfolios.
4. Highly meticulous with strong risk awareness, capable of working independently, adaptable to fast-changing
environments, and equipped with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, particularly in credit control,
documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
6. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to perform effectively under demanding conditions and
tight deadlines.
