$80,000 to $120,000 based on the role and level of experience.

We are partnering with a well-established, high-volume, and highly respected NYC bakery group to recruit both a General Manager and an Assistant General Manager .

The GM is the overall leader of the bakery , responsible for full operational performance, team leadership, and financial results. This role oversees a team of 40+ and sets the tone for culture, hospitality, and execution.

The AGM partners closely with the GM to execute daily operations , lead shifts, and support team development. This is a highly hands-on role with strong growth potential into a GM position.

• Lead, coach, and develop large teams across front and back of house
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Build strong internal leadership pipelines

• Oversee daily operations in a high-volume bakery environment
• Ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all shifts
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, leading by example

• Champion a culture of genuine, elevated hospitality
• Ensure every guest interaction reflects brand values
• Manage service recovery with professionalism and care

• Support or own (GM) P&L performance, including labor, sales, and cost control
• Oversee scheduling, payroll coordination, and reporting
• Monitor sales trends and contribute to forecasting and planning

• Ensure product quality, presentation, and availability at all times
• Partner with production teams to optimize product flow and minimize waste
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

• Maintain full compliance with NYC DOH regulations
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Uphold all company SOPs and safety standards

• Build strong relationships within the local community
• Drive guest loyalty and repeat business through engagement initiatives

• 5+ years of management experience in hospitality or food & beverage
• Proven ability to lead large, high-performing teams (40+)
• Strong understanding of P&L, labor management, and operations
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style

• 3+ years of management experience
• Strong leadership potential and desire to grow into a GM role
• Highly organized, hands-on, and team-oriented

• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
• Availability for weekends and holidays
• DOH certification required
