• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Hours per Day: 8.5

• Total Hours per Week: 42.5

Job Overview

A medical center is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist for a full-time, day-shift contract assignment. The therapist will deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely while providing compassionate care to oncology patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions

• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment

• Verify treatment plans and ensure precise dose delivery

• Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions

• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment documentation

• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology staff

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation regulations

• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout treatment

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Radiation Therapist

• ARRT (T) certification required or eligible

• Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital or oncology center setting

• Experience with modern radiation therapy equipment and systems
