ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2060
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Location: Rochester, NY 14621 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour shifts per week (Mid/Night rotation: 2 weeks evenings 15:00–03:00, 2 weeks nights 19:00–07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: November 4, 2025
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Orientation: 24 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse license (RN license in hand required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS and TNCC preferred
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (travel nursing requirement)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Perform triage, assessment, and management of patients with a wide range of emergency diagnoses
• Manage arterial and central lines, blood product administration, and IV vasopressors
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, neuro-trauma, ortho-trauma, and other acute conditions
• Administer procedural sedation and continuous IV sedation as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Float to other hospital units as required
• Maintain strict isolation precautions and safe patient handling practices
