OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Syracuse, NY by HMD Trucking
Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate long-haul dry van freight nationwide while based in Syracuse, managing solo OTR runs that prioritize safety and on-time delivery. Pay begins at 65 CPM with typical weekly mileage around 2,500, plus performance and safety bonuses.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company-provided modern trucks (APUs, inverters, sleeper berth).
- Secure and deliver freight, maintain accurate logs and trip paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch and utilize in-house maintenance support when required.
Requirements & Benefits:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
