Special Inspector
We are seeking a dedicated Special Inspector to perform on-site inspections for reinforced concrete structures. This role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications, ACI standards, and applicable building codes. The Special Inspector will document field observations, prepare daily reports, and communicate findings to project teams and inspectors. Collaboration with contractors, engineers, and project managers is essential to resolve field issues effectively.
Responsibilities- Perform on-site special inspections for reinforced concrete structures, including rebar placement, concrete placement, and related structural elements.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with project specifications, ACI standards, and applicable building codes.
- Document field observations and prepare daily reports.
- Communicate findings to project teams and inspectors.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve field issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Structural, or other Construction related field.
- ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector (CCSI) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
- 3+ years of recent inspection experience, preferably focusing on rebar and concrete placement inspection.
- Inspection experience in other types of construction is a plus, including post-tensioning, masonry, steel, etc.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification.
- This position is based on-site, in the field.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
