Sanitation Technician
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. In this essential role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment by sanitizing production equipment, packaging areas, and facility spaces according to rigorous food safety standards. Your work will support our compliance with SSOP, HACCP, FDA, GMP, and other regulatory requirements. This is a THIRD Shift position - start time is 8:30pm. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize production equipment and facility areas on a daily basis
Follow established sanitation schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
Operate cleaning tools and equipment, including power scrubbers, foamers, and forklifts
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and maintain organized chemical storage areas
Clean and restock break rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces as needed
Accurately complete sanitation records and report any food safety concerns immediately
Serve as backup to the Sanitation Supervisor when required
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Solid understanding of sanitation procedures, safety practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Experience working with Industrial cleaning chemicals
