Pay Rate: $18 – $20/hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a 300-bed long-term care facility in Vestal, NY. The facility provides a comprehensive range of services including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, and wound care.

The CNA will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while ensuring dignity, comfort, and high-quality care in a structured, team-oriented environment. This opportunity is well-suited for both experienced CNAs and first-time travelers, with flexibility regarding prior long-term care experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Accurately document care activities using electronic documentation systems
• Float between units as needed based on facility requirements
• Support a collaborative, team-based care environment

Qualifications

• Active New York State CNA certification (required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred; however, candidates with hospital, rehab, or med-surg experience will be considered
• First-time travel candidates are welcome
