Temporary Awards Coordinator

A24 is seeking an Awards Coordinator to support the Publicity team during the upcoming awards season. The NY or LA based position is temporary and will go from mid-August to early March. There is a preference for LA based candidates.

Initial Responsibilities

• Book screening rooms and handle print requests
• Manage RSVPs for screenings and events
• Compile and maintain awards mailing lists
• Monitor the awards email account and phone line and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain awards charts including top ten lists, critics groups and guild awards
• Compile and route Accolade Update emails when nominations and winners are announced
• Handle awards invoices and expenses
• Schedule meetings and maintain agendas
• Assist at screenings and events by handling check in and writing screening reports

Ideal Candidate

• Undergraduate degree
• Film/Entertainment experience preferred
• An interest in publicity and awards
• Available to work evenings and weekends at screenings and events
• Organized and extremely detail oriented
• Motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking, time management and organization
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Social, humble, diligent, resourceful and enthusiastic team player

Our target hourly range for this role is between $20 and $22 per hour. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
