Empowered Staffing is partnered with a well-established, family-owned luxury bedding manufacturer that is seeking a Sales Manager to support its next phase of national growth. For over 40 years, the company has handcrafted premium comforters, pillows, and fine linens for top interior designers, boutique hotels, and luxury retailers nationwide. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, nurturing high-value client relationships, and helping elevate a beloved brand in the luxury home space.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and relationship-driven Sales Manager to lead national wholesale sales efforts. We’re seeking someone with strong leadership qualities, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to work with luxury retailers or high-end clientele.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic wholesale initiatives, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with leadership to support the company's continued expansion in the luxury home space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and coaching to a team of outside sales reps across multiple states, including regular pipeline reviews, team check-ins, and one-on-one development sessions.
  • Assess and restructure sales territories as needed, while developing and implementing clear, measurable sales goals and reporting frameworks to drive performance.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key wholesale accounts, with a focus on luxury retailers and high-end designers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and partners.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and strategically expand our client's footprint in the luxury bedding and home market.
  • Develop and implement wholesale sales plans, set clear KPIs, and report on progress to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and production teams to align on customer needs and market trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Lead by example through excellent client communication, a consultative sales approach, and thoughtful account strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale account management within the luxury home décor, bedding, or textiles industry.
  • Proven success managing accounts and driving revenue growth in the high-end/luxury retail sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury customer mindset and sales cycle.
  • Experience setting and meeting sales targets and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, growing organization.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
