Position Title: RN – Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326, USA

Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift: Night Shift

Pay Range: $50 – $55 per hour ($2,000.00 – $2,200.00 weekly)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking R N – Med/Surg Telemetry for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cooperstown , NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care for medical, surgical, and telemetry patients.

• Monitor, interpret, and respond appropriately to telemetry data.

• Safely administer medications and IV therapy.

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Provide specialized neurological monitoring for stroke patients (Med 2).

• Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to optimize outcomes.

• Respond to urgent and emergent patient situations.

• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.

• Consistently follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State.

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred.

• Strong skills in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.

• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.

• Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.

• Ability to excel in a high-acuity, team-based environment.
