Jewelry Operations and Inventory Associate
:
Overview :Demeglio, a prestigious Italian high-end jewelry brand, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate to support the production cycle. This position involves assisting with order coordination, product receiving, returns, and sample preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and experienced in the jewelry or high-end wholesale industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Procurement and Order Coordination Support
Assist in placing purchase orders with the factory in Italy as directed.
Track the status of shipments and help maintain communication with the Italian factory regarding timelines and updates.
Help document and update order-related data and communications.
- Order Fulfillment and Shipping
Support the picking, packing, and labeling of customer orders.
Prepare shipments and coordinate with logistics partners to arrange secure deliveries.
Monitor tracking information and assist in resolving shipping delays or issues.
- Returns, Repairs, and Memos
Facilitate the intake and documentation of returned, repaired, and memo products.
Coordinate with customers and internal contacts regarding repair requests and shipping to the Italian factory.
Track the movement and status of all reverse logistics.
- Sample Line Preparation
Prepare and track sample jewelry lines for events, trunk shows, and customer presentations.
Help organize and care for sample items before and after use.
- Administrative and Process Support
Assist in updating records, forms, and databases related to supply chain activities.
Help identify process improvement opportunities and provide input on operational tools.
Support data entry for order tracking and reporting systems.
- Reporting Assistance
Help compile reports on shipping, fulfillment, and related logistics data.
Assist in generating insights from supply chain metrics under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Skills and Competencies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling product and order information.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Good communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency in Excel and familiarity with inventory/order systems is a plus.
Ability to handle high-value products with care and discretion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (or relevant work experience).
2+ years of experience in a logistics, operations, or administrative support role in the jewelry industry or high-end wholesale is a must.
Comfortable working with international shipments and documentation.
Familiarity with shipping procedures and basic customs knowledge is an advantage.
Please note this is in-person Monday thru Friday position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
