Nightlife Manager – The Happiest Hour

Location: The Happiest Hour, NYC

Compensation: $30/hour + Sales Commissions up to $300/night

Position Type: Part-Time | 15 Hours/Week | Nights & Weekends Only | No Daytime Hours

Are you a charismatic people-person with a passion for nightlife, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences? The Happiest Hour is looking for a dynamic Nightlife Manager to take our late-night programming to the next level. This is your opportunity to thrive in a high-energy, exclusive environment where the vibe is everything.

What You’ll Do:

• Host and manage the front door Friday & Saturday nights from 9 PM – 2 AM

• Curate the guest list and overall crowd

• Drive and manage table sales and floor plotting

• Build relationships with regulars and VIPs

• Control traffic flow and set the tone of the room

• Collaborate with security to maintain a safe, elevated experience

• Conduct marketing outreach and nightlife networking

• Use social media and direct outreach to build a following and bring fresh energy into the space

What We’re Looking For:

• Outgoing, polished, assertive, and socially connected

• Familiar with NYC nightlife, bar culture, and late-night scenes

• Quick on your feet with strong judgment and people-reading skills

• Excellent verbal communication – persuasive, tactful, and confident

• Able to maintain a cool head in fast-paced environments

• Comfortable working the door outdoors year-round
