Essential Functions

• Assist in determining customer requirements using problem analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Define and develop clear problem statements that represent customers’ needs and requirements in collaboration with Sr. Software Engineers/Principal Engineer.
• Design and develop technical software solutions including software architecture.
• Contribute to examining systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Write and perform testing that aligns with a methodology, assists in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed-upon by the team or business unit.
• Document each aspect of an application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
• Identify and fix bugs.
• Assist Sr. Software Engineer in development of processes to deliver bug fixes and address customer concerns.
• Learn and advance relevant technical knowledge.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• One year of software development/engineering experience in Java, .NET, Python, Agile/Scrum methodologies, SQL Server, SOAP and REST web services.
• Experience with defect tracking software.
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS.

Salary offered: $114,962/year.
