Job Title: Associate Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $18–$19/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support front desk operations in a busy healthcare setting. This role is essential in delivering a positive patient experience while ensuring efficient clinic workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Collect copays and verify insurance
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
Requirements:
- Prior healthcare/front desk experience required
- EMR experience (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Environment:
- Business casual dress
- In-person interviews required
