Sr Manufacturing Technician for immediate direct hire position in the Clifton, NY area!

This would include having a natural engineering curiosity, ability utilizing measurement tools and having a thorough understanding of GD&T.

Additionally, the technician would also be responsible the set up and operation of manual or computer-controlled (CNC) machine tools-such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders-to produce precision metal parts

The right person will have proven work ethic, have a great eye for details and a natural mechanical ability with the desire to learn and grow!

responsibilities:

• Using QC tools such as spectrometers, measuring devices, calipers, gauges, height gauges, micrometers and or deburring equipment

• Set up and operation of manual or computer-controlled (CNC) machine tools-such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders-to produce precision metal parts

• Interface with engineers, other internal teams

• Perform engineering support activities as directed

Requirements

• 2 years related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education

• Good math skills and the ability to think logically and geometrically

• Knowledge of GD&T is a plus

• Experience with reading blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and using precision measuring instruments.

• Interpersonal skills with a proven work ethic

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
