Breakfast Cook

WINNER is opening its new flagship location at the Alloy Block in Downtown Brooklyn this September, and we’re building our kitchen team now!

We’re looking for talented, reliable, and team-oriented Cooks to join our culinary team and help us launch this exciting new project.

As a Cook at Alloy, you’ll focus on breakfast and lunch production and service, working alongside our culinary leadership to prepare fresh, high-quality food with consistency, care, and speed. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their station, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to grow with WINNER hospitality.

• Prepare and execute breakfast and lunch menu items according to WINNER recipes and standards
• Complete daily prep accurately and efficiently
• Set up, stock, and maintain your station throughout service
• Cook, portion, season, plate, and finish dishes to WINNER standards
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch services
• Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow cooks about prep, product levels, timing, and service needs
• Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients properly
• Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, allergen, and workplace safety standards
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture
• Receive coaching and continue developing your culinary skills

• Previous professional kitchen or restaurant experience with demonstrated ability
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen organization
• Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and production instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work mornings and afternoons, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift and carry kitchen supplies
