Location: New York, NY 10035
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday (5 Days/Week)
Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week (7.5 Hours/Day)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to support daily administrative and office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management
- Answer phones and provide front desk/reception support
- Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments
- Prepare, type, and manage correspondence and reports
- Maintain organized records and indexing systems
- Operate standard office equipment (fax, copier, computer, etc.)
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff
- Interact professionally with patients and visitors
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clerical or administrative experience
- Typing speed of at least 50 keystrokes per minute
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare office
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
