Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Bronx, NY 10461

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 3x12 shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview

A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery. The RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications, including pain management therapies
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Assist with labor induction procedures and techniques
• Prepare and maintain delivery rooms, ensuring all equipment is ready for use
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare teams during delivery
• Deliver postpartum care and monitor patient recovery
• Identify and respond promptly to complications or emergencies
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records

Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Maternal & Child Health
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Minimum 2 years of experience in conscious sedation

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Valid driver’s license required
