Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Location: Vestal, NY 13850

Assignment Duration: 16 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8 hours (06:30 AM – 02:45 PM)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Orientation: All hours are billable

Compensation (Weekly)

• Local Rate: Up to $1,912/week
• Travel Rate: Up to $2,258/week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) assignment in a structured and supportive care environment. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents, including individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and changes
• Support individualized care plans for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
• Assist with rehabilitation and skilled nursing care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Candidates with recent Med-Surg, Rehab, or Acute Care experience will be considered
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage patient ratios in a long-term care setting
