MES Full Stack Developer (.NET, C#, Angular)

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an MES Software Developer (.NET, C#, ASP.NET).

Type: Contract

Location: Remote (within 1-2 hours of: Corning, NY; Charlotte, NC; Vineland, NJ; Phoenix, AZ; Hemlock, MI; Hickory, NC; Blacksburg, VA; Keller, TX; Boston, MA; Tewksbury, MA; Bedford, MA)

Pay Rate: $51.14 - $63.39/hour

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: BS in Computer Science / Systems Management / IT Related field (minimum required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain MES applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Web APIs

• Integrate Siemens Opcenter Execution MES with manufacturing systems and equipment

• Implement messaging technologies (MSMQ, ActiveMQ) for reliable shop floor communication

• Ensure system integration and data consistency across all systems

• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and reliability

• Provide documentation, training, and on-call support once fully onboarded

Required Skills:

• 5-7+ years in .NET, C#, ASP.NET development

• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies (MSMQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)

• Experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing IT systems

• Exposure to MES, RESTful APIs, and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)

• Familiarity with source control systems (Git, TFS)

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution (Designer & Portal)

• CI/CD, Test-Driven Development, Agile/Scrum experience

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
