SLC Therapy of WNY has been a trusted provider of therapy services since 2001. Originally starting as a small team focused solely on Speech Therapy, we have grown to over 30 dedicated employees offering comprehensive services in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Special Education across multiple counties in New York. SLC Therapy is run by working therapists who are readily available to mentor and support therapists who are new to the field or collaborate with those who are more experienced.

Summary

We are seeking Licensed Physical Therapists to join our team at SLC Therapy of WNY. In this role, you will provide essential services to children birth to 5 years old, as well as their caregivers in various settings, empowering them as they develop gross motor skills. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community.

Immediate full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available in Erie County. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own hours and days, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions appropriate for young children with gross motor delays or disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized treatment.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes and strategies to enhance motor skills.
• Provide support for clients with autism and other developmental challenges.

Requirements

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Strong knowledge of motor development and disorders, as well as therapeutic strategies.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with autism is preferred.
• Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent report writing

Pay: $36.50 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
