Marketing and Content Specialist
Job Summary:
We are in search of a Marketing and Content Specialist who is tech-savvy, creative, and a determined problem-solver with a strong interest in marketing. This role is ideal for a proactive 'do-er' and 'go-getter' who can take action and accountability. The candidate will support our marketing & media team, creating compelling content for various platforms while ensuring smooth operational and scheduling support.
Core Responsibilities:
● Content Creation and Strategy:
○ Develop consumable and compelling content for our podcast, social media, and marketing campaigns.
○ Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
○ Collaborate with the media team on strategy and narratives, creating engaging social media copy and press releases.
● Operational and Team Support:
○ Support partner relations and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and partners on marketing tasks and initiatives.
○ Assist in the production of promotional materials and social media publishing.
○ Maintain schedules for marketing and podcast initiatives using project management software.
● Communication and Collaboration:
○ Work in close collaboration with the Marketing Director and marketing team.
○ Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and contribute to marketing campaigns.
● Digital Marketing Proficiency:
○ Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to increase website traffic.
○ Edit and polish content for clarity, accuracy, and readability.
Qualifications:
● Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field is a plus.
● Professional Experience: Proven content writing or copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio of written work.
● Skills Required:
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an impeccable grasp of the English language.
● Superior organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Google Docs.
● Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications.
