A Dietary Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records including resident weights, lab values, food preference, food temperatures, and accuracy/completeness of tray service. Dietary Clerk's also assist in making sure that the department is secure and in good working order before closing. Responsibilities: Maintains accurate records, such as but not limited to, posting of resident weights, lab values, food preference, meal/nourishment intake information, and meal census records. Monitors resident tray service to include documentation of food temperatures, accuracy/completeness of trays and record of meal delivery. Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the cook or supervisor. Assists with answering phones during meal service and making any adjustments necessary to the resident meal tray. Schedules duties for employees during evening meal service and for duties performed after the evening meal service. May be responsible for assisting in serving the meals to residents. Previous experience in institutional food service/dietary is required with a preference of two to three years experi Must be able to meet health assessment requirements, including required testing and health documentation. Ability to lift 60 pounds if necessary with the ability to sit, walk, bend, and twist. Ability to engage in repetitive motions for extended times required.
