Generator Supercenter of Upstate NY is seeking a skilled and licensed electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing backup generators for residential customers. This is a full-time position, and long hours may be required at times.
Responsibilities:
- Install and set up generators at customer sites according to manufacturer specifications and electrical codes
- Perform electrical wiring and connections necessary for generator installation
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper functioning of generators
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to generator installations
- Educate customers on generator operation and maintenance best practices
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during all installations and service calls
- Meter can upgrades, panel upgrades
- Generator maintenance
Requirements:
- Residential Wireman, Journeyman, or Master Electrical License
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring methods
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
