Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Summary:

American Food & Vending is seeking a dynamic Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join their team. This position reports directly to the A/R Manager and will assist in managing the daily operations of the receivables department, ensuring that invoices are processed efficiently, and payments are collected promptly. Additionally, the AR Supervisor will work to build and maintain strong client relationships, optimizing procedures when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the function of the accounts receivable department, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the collection process to ensure payments are received timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with the A/R manager to develop strategies that reduce the collection time for outstanding payments.
• Supervise the generation and distribution of invoices, ensuring they are accurate and sent out promptly.
• Address and resolve any disputes regarding invoices or payments and communicate effectively with clients to manage and resolve any issues.
• Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports, collection performance, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure all records are accurately maintained and updated.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the billing and collection process.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and mutual understanding of accounts receivable processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or related field required.
• 3-5 years' related industry experience or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, as well as Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Effective communication with team members and department manager.
